Referring to a service where you know “strangers” are going to be meeting your Mum’s personal needs wasn’t easy. Guilt also played a part as you can feel that as a family you should be undertaking this role. Unfortunately due to having our own families and work commitments we were not in a position to do this on a daily basis.
How little did we know how quickly these strangers would become part of our family? SureCare have played a major role within our family for almost two years. There have been changes in staff but each one has been friendly, supportive and arrived with a smile.

We feel that SureCare provide an excellent service and we feel happy and reassured that our precious Mum is being cared for by such special and caring people. Saying Thank you never seems enough!

If it’s possible it is my wish to remain living with the help of SureCare in my own home. I have found the carer’s of SureCare all very helpful and cheerful. My main carer Clare has been my carer for over 8 months. I find her very trustworthy and we get on well together and have many laughs. Clare will put herself out for me. She is like a good friend to me and my family.

To all my mother’s carer’s and everyone who makes this provision possible. I have had to put my mother in a nursing home. Without your excellent provision my mother would not have been able to stay at home as long as she did. She may improve and one day returns home? You have all been so professional and caring. I have met Julia (carer) on a few occasions, usually when my mother was ill. Please thank her for her prompt evaluation and getting help. It is a great provision and I have been so grateful for the support.

I am writing a few words of appreciation in respect of the carers who have been looking after my welfare for the last year or so. They have helped to boost my confidence and to maintain a greater feeling of security within myself. The service provided by your organisation has proved to have been excellent.
